TITLE
  Micmatch
SUBTITLE
OCaml-friendly, functional syntax for regular expressions
DESCRIPTION
Micmatch is a functional front-end to existing low-level libraries
that implement regular expressions (either PCRE-OCaml or Str).
It provides a syntax which will make OCaml users happy: regular
expressions are part of the program. They benefit from a dedicated
syntax, which has been integrated into the regular pattern-matching
constructs of OCaml. The process of compiling regexps is made
completely transparent, the extraction of subgroups has never been so
safe and everything is checked at compile-time. You will naturally
benefit from the syntax-highlighting capacities of your favorite
text-editor. You will achieve high productivity levels when writing
programs which range from small scripts to huge applications without
losing the high performance of PCRE, and of course OCaml.
